Our story

From Mum's kitchen to yours

Bao Bae started with missing home. The authentic Mauritian-Chinese bao we grew up on was nowhere to be found in Melbourne.

So we make them the way Mum taught us. Every bun is folded by hand and steamed the day you pick it up. No shortcuts, no preservatives sitting on a shelf. Just small batches made with love.
